LCC Performance at St Christopher's Fun Walk

Sunday 11th May, 5pm Performance

The First of our Summer term performances, we will be entertaining the public at the end of the fun walk at Keston Common.  Our performance time is 5pm, for approximately 1 hour.  We will meet next to the performance area (there will be a small stage) at 4.45pm.  Parking is very limited but there is a park and ride operating from Norman Park.  Please share lifts as much as possible.  There is an option on the registration form to request parking at Keston Common.  We cannot guarantee this but the organisers have said they will do what they can to give us space.  Therefore, please indicate on your registration if you would like a parking space at Keston Common.

If you haven't heard of this event before - last year over 2,000 people from across Bromley, Croydon, Lewisham, Southwark and Lambeth walked through the beautiful countryside with their family, friends and pets to raise money for our local hospice. They raised £200,000 for St Christopher's by walking 3, 5, 8 or 11 miles - a phenomenal amount. At the start/finish hub on Keston Common (where we will be), there is a festival style event, with lots of entertainment/food/drink etc. There are also ‘stages’ on the halfway point and other points along the longer 5, 8 and 11 mile routes. It's looking to be a lovely event and we're really pleased to have been asked to be a part of it.
